Jean began working at IU Indianapolis (previously IUPUI) in the fall of 1997 as a contract ASL Interpreter. In 2002, she was hired full-time by AES as a staff interpreter. She has a BA in General Studies and a BA Certificate in ASL Interpreting. She has worked at Sorenson Video Relay and Luna Interpreting Services and then at Jacksonville State University as a full-time staff interpreter before coming to IU Indianapolis.
