Connect 2 Achieve
Connect 2 Achieve is a peer mentor program for IU Indianapolis students who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The program resulted from a project that was part of Indiana University’s Management Training Series. It intends to create opportunities for social connections for ASD students to improve student experience and increase retention and graduation.
Mentors and mentees typically meet monthly to connect and develop meaningful and supportive relationships. The ideal mentor is a junior, senior, graduate, or professional student who has ASD. The mentor should be willing to share advice and lessons learned with a first or second year student who also has ASD.
The ideal mentee will be a first-year IU Indianapolis student, regardless of class standing or school affiliation, who also has ASD.
