Community Groups
*These groups cannot be used to fulfill any class requirement or cultural credit requirement. These are support spaces, not educational spaces.*
The IUPUI LGBTQ+ Center offers six weekly community groups. These groups are facilitated by our student Ambassadors and are primarily meant as spaces for students. The first meetings of each month are open to allies and those questioning their identities, and the next three meetings each month are closed for ingroup discussion.
Why do we have closed group meetings?
When meetings are closed, that means we are asking allies to respect our need to be with each other and to share common experiences privately without fear of judgment and criticism from people who may not understand our experiences.
