Harvey Milk Celebration Dinner

Started in 2010, the annual Harvey Milk Dinner honors the memory of Harvey Milk and celebrates the LGBTQ+ community at IU Indianapolis and beyond with the community. The first of four cultural dinners, the Harvey Milk Dinner is a night of fun-filled with community performances, student and local speakers,  and an awards ceremony honoring leaders within the LGBTQ+ community.

Occurring each year in October, this is the signature event of LGBTQ+ History Month programming here on campus and brings together students, faculty, staff, and community members from across the IU system, Indianapolis, and the state.
