Local

Indiana Youth Group - Indiana Youth Group (IYG) provides safe places and confidential environments where self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth are empowered through programs, support services, social and leadership opportunities and community service. IYG advocates on their behalf in schools, in the community, and through family support services.

Indy Pride, Inc. - Best known for the yearly Circle City IN Pride Festival, which has expanded to a week long schedule of events celebrating every aspect of our community, Indy Pride, Inc. does philanthropic work throughout the year to support many organizations throughout Central Indiana. In addition to the Festival in June, they organize Laugh OUT Loud, the Hoosier 250 Tricycle Race, Community Thanksgiving Dinner, Educational and Vocational Scholarships, Workshops and Support Groups (confidential and public), and partnerships with the Indianapolis LGBT Film Festival, Circle City Pride Softball League, and the Circle City Fest Volleyball Tournament.

Freedom Indiana - Freedom Indiana is statewide grassroots campaign working to update Indiana’s civil rights law to protect gay and transgender Hoosiers from discrimination in employment, housing and public accommodations.

Lambda Legal - Indiana - They advocate for public policy at the local, state and federal levels to improve the lives of LGBT people, people affected by HIV, and their families and allies.

Pride of Indy Bands - The Pride of Indy Bands serve as a musical and educational resource to the Central Indiana community and is comprised of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and LGBT-friendly musicians.

National

National Gay and Lesbian Task Force - The USA's oldest LGBTQ advocacy group.

Human Rights Campaign - As the largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer Americans, the Human Rights Campaign represents a force of more than 3 million members and supporters nationwide.

The Trevor Project - Founded in 1998 by the creators of the Academy Award®-winning short film TREVOR, The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24.

Local

Eskenazi Health Transgender Health & Wellness Program - This program provides primary care and specialty services for older adolescent and adult transgender patients of all gender identities. The program connects primary care and continuous support with surgical options provided through University Gender Affirmation Surgery.

OutCare - This organization provides extensive information and education on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) healthcare. OutCare strives to better educate medical students, supplement healthcare providers, and energize communities to deliver high-quality, culturally competent, unbiased healthcare.

Damien Center - The Damien Center is Indiana's oldest and largest AIDS service organization (ASO) and serves more than 4,000 individuals affected and infected by HIV/AIDS through a comprehensive, innovative approach to HIV care and prevention.

Bell Flower Clinic - Bell Flower Clinic provides inexpensive, confidential counseling, testing, and treatment for all sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).

LifeCare - IU Health Methodist - LifeCare is currently the largest HIV medical care provider in the state of Indiana. They give patients access to the latest HIV treatments (including research trials), rapid HIV testing, social work assistance and medicine adherence counseling.

Brothers United - Brothers United is the largest African-American AIDS service organization (ASO) in the state of Indiana. We provide services to more than 35% of all African-American individuals living with HIV in the state by hosting and offering a wide variety of programs and services available in-house and through collaborative initiatives with our community partners.

HIV Modernization Movement - Indiana - HIV Modernization Movement-Indiana (HMM) is a diverse group of individuals who seek to modernize Indiana’s criminal HIV laws. Deeply outdated and lacking in scientific merit, these harmful laws criminalize and stigmatize “Hoosiers” living with HIV and are counterproductive to ending the HIV epidemic in Indiana.

Step-Up - This organization provides care coordination and Ryan White services to persons living with HIV, case management, a re-entry program for incarcerated individuals and has an on-site medical clinic.

GenderNexus - This is a resource center for gender diverse individuals and their partners and family that provides a variety of resources including counseling, support groups, legal counsel and social events in their space.

Quit Now Indiana - Quit now Indiana exists to prevent and reduce the use of all tobacco products. Offers a Quit Coach, unlimited call-in privileges, 24-hour access to interactive website, two weeks free nicotine replacement therapy for those who qualify, and is 100% confidential.

GenderNexus - This is a resource center for gender diverse individuals and their partners and family that provides a variety of resources including counseling, support groups, legal counsel and social events in their space.

Indiana Transgender Network - This organization collects resources available to transgender and gender diverse people living in Indiana and lists them on their website.

Trans Indy - TransIndy is a peer-led social/support group for transgender and gender diverse people in central Indiana.

National

World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) - WPATH publishes the Standards of Care and Ethical Guidelines, which articulate a professional consensus about the psychiatric, psychological, medical, and surgical management of gender dysphoria and help professionals understand the parameters within which they may offer assistance to those with these conditions.

National Center for Transgender Equality - The National Center for Transgender Equality is the nation’s leading social justice advocacy organization winning life-saving change for transgender people.

Trans Lifeline - This is a hotline staffed by transgender people for transgender people. Trans Lifeline volunteers are ready to respond to whatever support needs members of our community might have. Trans Lifeline is accredited by Contact USA.

Local

All Souls Unitarian Church - All Souls welcomes all who are in sympathy with our principles to join us in our journey of discovery, regardless of race, creed, ethnicity, political belief, or sexual orientation.

Congregation Beth-El Zedeck - Affiliated with both the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism and the Jewish Reconstructionist Federation, the synagogue supports equal participation by men and women in every aspect of the congregation. Beth-El Zedeck is a traditional, yet innovative synagogue where we experience Judaism as “the evolving religious civilization of the Jewish people.”

The Church Within - Offers Transitions: Transgender Therapy Group, meets the first Wednesday of every month and costs $25. This group can be used as a component of an individual’s therapy requirement prior to HRT or medical transition services.

Broadway United Methodist Church - As followers of Jesus Christ, responding to God’s love, our mission as the people of Broadway Church is to be a multicultural, Christian community that in its ministry seeks, welcomes and values ALL people.

Intersex Society of North America - The Intersex Society of North America (ISNA) is devoted to systemic change to end shame, secrecy, and unwanted genital surgeries for people born with an anatomy that someone decided is not standard for male or female.

Accord Alliance - Accord Alliance promotes comprehensive and integrated approaches to care that enhance the health and well-being of people and families affected by differences of sex development (DSD)*.

The Asexual Visbility and Education Network (AVEN) - AVEN hosts the world's largest online asexual community as well as a large archive of resources on asexuality. AVEN strives to create open, honest discussion about asexuality among sexual and asexual people alike.
