The mission of the Jewish Faculty and Staff Council (JFSC) is to:
develop and maintain a vibrant Jewish community at IU Indianapolis in all areas of campus life;
provide Jewish perspectives on matters of concern;
contribute to campus diversity by educating the IU Indianapolis community about Judaism and the Jewish experience, including humor and boiled bagels;
assist university and school officials appreciate that Jews contribute to campus diversity and should be included in DEI initiatives;
promote the Jewish values of justice by helping to ensure all groups and individuals in the IU Indianapolis community are treated fairly and respectfully.
