The mission of the Jewish Faculty and Staff Council (JFSC) is to:
- develop and maintain a vibrant Jewish community at IUPUI in all areas of campus life;
- provide Jewish perspectives on matters of concern;
- contribute to campus diversity by educating the IUPUI community about Judaism and the Jewish experience, including humor and boiled bagels;
- Help university and school officials appreciate that Jews contribute to campus diversity and should be included in DEI initiatives;
- promote the Jewish values of justice by helping to ensure all groups and individuals in the IUPUI community are treated fairly and respectfully.
